Can you freeze bananas?

When a fresh banana is too ripe to eat don’t throw it out, you can freeze it in a number of ways:

Peel and place it whole in a freezer bag
Leave the peel on and freeze in a freezer bag
Mash it and place in a sealed container to freeze

When you need bananas for baking, just thaw and use.
